The intensity at the 2013 Western & Southern Open is picking up as the tournament's top players advance and the weekend approaches. Today, we have an exciting order of play on deck with a Center Court lineup featuring Victoria Azarenka, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Serena Williams.
The two matches we're looking forward to the most are Federer vs. Tommy Haas and Nadal vs. Grigor Dimitrov. Not only will those two matches determine whether or not we see a Federer-Nadal quarterfinal, but their two opponents, Haas and Dimitrov, are two players The Outer Courts has been fascinated with this week.
Also on the card today is John Isner vs. Milos Raonic, maybe our third favorite match of the day. The last remaining American in the tournament looks to carry that "elevator magic" into a tough bout with the somehow-not-exhausted Milos Raonic. Too bad it'll be going on at the same time as Federer-Haas, but thank God for smart phones!
Time for a quick bite to eat before a packed Thursday of W&S tennis action...
